Hair Extensions by Heather & Anna
Why get extensions? Heather's and Anna's extensions are made
from human hair so they look natural. They also come in a large variety of colors, so it's easy to find a shade
that matches your natural hair color. Or, add new colors to your hair without the committment that a highlighting
process may bring. Extensions can add thickness, length, texture, body and volume. Something about long, thick
hair makes you feel beautiful and sexy again, and just might spice up your love life!
- How it's done: There are many ways hair extensions can be applied. Each of Heather's extensions consists of
about 200 human hairs, joined at one end with a non-damaging bonding strip. Heather hides the strip under your
natural hair, liquifies it with a heating device and then attaches it to hair about 1/2" from the scalp. It
instantly hardens. Anna's hair extensions can be applied either individually, with beads (Hair Loc-type), tracks,
which are applied with beads or braided and sewn in.
- How long it takes: Heather's hair extension applications take one to three hours, followed by a haircut and style.
Anna's individually attached hair extensions can take up four hours; her hair extensions applied with beads (similar
to Hair Loc) can take up to 10 minutes per track; and the braided and sewn type can take up to 15 minutes per track.
- How long do they last: After four months you start to see lines of demarcation on Heather's extensions between your
real hair and the extensions. Anna's individual extensions can last up to four months, tracks with beads last up
to one month, and the sewn-in braided variety can last up to one month. The length of time all the hair extensions
last depend upon how well you take care of your extensions. Our stylists will educate you on the care of your extensions.
- How they come off: Heather sprays a losening solution onto the bonding area and then clamps it with a pliars-like
tool; the extensions slide right off. Anna's extensions come off using a similar tool similar to how the extensionsapplied.
