Katrina - Owner/Stylist/Corrective Colorist With more than fourteen years experience Katrina has developed a knack for communicating honestly with her clients with regard to their hair wants and needs. Always ready to update her client's style, Katrina has kept them coming back year after year. Specializing in corrective color, Katrina has a knack for dealing with hard to color hair. Her no-nonsense approach to hairstyling and the constant sharing of knowledge between her and the other stylists has put Blue Velvet Salon at the forefront of cutting edge hairstyling. Blue Velvet Salon is the top salon in the Valley.

Tina - Owner/Management Tina has more than 25 years experience in management in the legal industry. Working behind the scenes, Tina helps Blue Velvet's day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently. Occasionally, you will find her greeting you either on the phone or in the salon. This mother-and-daughter team's goal is to provide you with the look you want in a truly unique and friendly atmosphere. Anna - Stylist/Colorist/Extension Artist/Eyebrow Shaping Expert Anna, wears many hats, not only is she Blue Velvet's salon manager, she is also our premier extensions artist. Anna's extensions cannot be compared. Anna is also and exceptional brow stylist, She possesses a natural talent very few have in giving you perfect brows every time. Her calm demeanor, and professionalism make Blue velvet proud to call her one of their own. Also an expert colorist, Her expertise lies in all shades brunette, Highlighting, low lighting and glossing brunettes is an art on it's own which Anna has mastered. Don't expect to hear her entire life story while in her chair, she is quiet and extremely focused on the task at hand always lending an intent ear to her clients.
Heather - Hair Extension Specialist, Stylist/Colorist Heather is a fun, energetic stylist, creative, young and oh so MOD! Heather has a chic and funky style which often influences her client's finished look. For the more conservative types, she listens to their needs and achieves the look they desire every time. Her extensions are exceptional for those that want to add length or fullness to their hair. While in Heather's chair your not just a client your a friend.
Megan - Stylist/Colorist/Makeup Artist Megan comes to Blue Velvet with six years experience and a wealth of knowledge in the latest in hair design and color technology. Megan is a color educator for Joico, an expert in color correction and can take your hair color to new heights. Megan is a gifted artist, applying makeup for a night on the town, a very special occasion, and tv, film, including horror productions. As and actress herself, she relates well to her mostly actor/actress clientele, always keeping them up-to-date, and offering direction on her client's specific needs for film, television, print and head shots. Erin - Stylist/Colorist This chick has passion! Erin has been doing hair for seven years, and we are so pleased she found us. Erin gives precision haircuts, has exceptional abilities from funky and edgy to earthy and casual. Erin has a very friendly and positive attitude. With her passion for hair and her sweet midwest demeanor she is quickly building a loyal following. Clients are raving about her! She's busy though so book in advance!
Bryan - Stylist/Colorist
Bryan Cummins joins our team full-time which makes everyone at Blue Velvet so happy! Bryan completed an intensive apprentiship under a master stylist in the tradition of Vidal Sassoon. His clientele ranges from soccer moms to play mates, actors to studio executives. He specializes in custom and corrective coloring, precision cutting, and extensions. He is an experienced educator in cutting and coloring technique/theory. Bryan is available for consultation and rendering of service by appointment only.
Katharine - Stylist/Colorist
Katharine Kremp is a new addition to our team. She has worked for many years in film and television, and has been nominated for an Emmy Award 5 times. Katharine has a knack for establishing new, hip looks, and has a long list of Hollywood celebrities who have seeked her expertise. Her client list includes names such as Tom, Cruise, Penelope Cruz, John Cusack, Cameron Diaz, Dakota Fanning, Jason Leigh, Jennifer Coolidge, Ray Liotta, Amanda Pete, Michael Rapaport, Wanda Sykes, and Raquel Welch, just to name a few. Her body of work encompasses films, such as "Evan Almighty", "War of the Worlds", "Alot Like Love", "Charlies Angels 2" and "Identity " and TV shows such as "Friends", "Joey", 'Til Death", and "The War at Home". She works intuitively with you to create a look that is comfortable and easy to wear, and that suits your lifestyle and personality! Katharine is available for appointments on Sundays.
Gwen - Aesthetician
Gwen....exceptional, knowledgeable, professional and the most soothing and comforting skin care specialist we have ever had and she is here to stay! An amazing facialist, our stylists are so proud to refer their own clients to her. Providing full body and intimate waxing for men and women Gwen effortlessly removes any unwanted hair, leaving your skin feeling silky smooth in a clean, professional environment. There will be absolutely no quams on your part, and soon you and your friends will think nothing of waxing any and every part of your body.
